Occupational Therapist
Tatyana is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and is qualified to practice in Ontario. Tatyana graduated from the University of Guelph Humber with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology, a Certificate in Research Skills and Analysis (RS), and a General Art and Science diploma. Tatyana achieved a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Toronto. She completed her international pediatric placement with one of Mumbai, India’s biggest pediatric centers, creating unique and culturally relevant play-based treatment interventions for children with exceptionalities working toward achieving goals specific to the school, home, and community environment. Tatyana has also completed a placement with the George Hall Center for Children and Families, working closely with children experiencing school and community-related anxiety while developing strategies effective for managing it. Tatyana has volunteered in the respite program at Holland Bloor View Kids rehabilitation center, working with children on building communication, behavioral, self-regulatory/self-awareness, and social skills. Tatyana has also completed shadowing experiences in the Neonatal Intensive care unit of St. Joseph’s hospital learning about feeding, sensory, and developmental challenges. Tatyana is a lifelong learner who is eager to exercise problem-solving for different and unique child/parent needs.
