Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Grace is a dedicated and compassionate Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) with a strong academic background and a commitment to client-centred care. She holds an Honours BSc in Medical Physics from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy from Leeds Beckett University in England, UK. Now based in Ontario, Grace is gaining valuable experience while awaiting the transfer of her accreditation as a Speech and Language Therapist with CASLPO.
Grace has worked with both children and adults across various settings, focusing on communication and swallow rehabilitation for individuals with diverse needs. Her expertise includes language development, articulation, social communication, and swallowing disorders. Grace is passionate about implementing evidence-based, play-based learning strategies in her therapy sessions. She believes in working closely with clients and their families to achieve shared goals of improved communication, autonomy, and self-advocacy.
With a compassionate and collaborative approach, Grace is dedicated to supporting her clients in their journey towards reaching their goals and a higher quality of life.
