Developing Hands Pediatric and Family Services, is looking to hire a passionate and enthusiastic Social Worker to join our established and growing multidisciplinary team of exceptional Therapists who are dedicated to fulfilling their passions for enhancing children’s functional performance and independence in everyday activities.

As a Social Worker at Developing Hands Pediatric and Family Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct, one-on-one therapy sessions for children, adolescents (ages 0-18) and adults with a variety of diagnoses while adhering to the policies and procedures of the company. Services can be offered In-Home/Schools/Daycare (across the GTA), In-Clinic (two clinic locations in Mississauga) and or Virtually (all across Ontario).
This Social Worker job position is for part-time (12 hours/week) – In-Clinic located at 3100 Ridgeway Drive or via Telephone or Video call. Hours of availability to include select afternoon, evening and weekend hours.
Provide counselling and intervention for children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced or been affected by (depression, anxiety, addiction, family conflict, abuse, domestic violence, loss or grief).
Manage an assigned caseload and contribute to the quality of care to clients through adherence to the professional standards of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
Support individuals and families by providing therapy and resources that will support the needs of the client.
Maintain regular contact with client and or families and keep them informed of treatment plans.
Master's degree in Social Work or the equivalent;
Registered with the College of Ontario of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
Two years of clinical experience working with children through play therapy or other modalities an asset;
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
Well-developed clinical skills within CBT, DBT, EFT, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy..etc;
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting;
