We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Developing Hands Pediatric Therapy, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing treatment plans for infantschildren and adolescents (ages 0-18) provided by an Occupational Therapist with a variety of diagnoses while adhering to the policies and procedures of the company. Services can be offered In-Home/Schools/Daycare (across the GTA), In-Clinic (two clinic locations in Mississauga) and or Virtually (all across Ontario).

Responsibilities
  • Conducting client treatment plans provided by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and activities as prescribed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide hands-on therapy, monitor client progress, and document treatment outcomes.
  • Maintains open communication with the Occupational Therapist, and the team regarding client and family concern.
  • Collaborate effectively with the therapist and other professionals.
  • Assist with maintaining client records and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Support clients and their families in understanding and adhering to the treatment plan.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited college program or equivalent for Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassion and patience when working with clients.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
