Occupational Therapist
With more than a decade of experience as an occupational therapist, Bembem is dedicated to helping children and adolescents overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. She has worked extensively in mainstream educational settings and special needs schools, focusing on improving hand function for academic tasks such as handwriting, coloring, painting, as well as daily activities like dressing and grooming.
Bembem holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mauritius and is a registered member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). Fluent in English, French, and Creole, with intermediate proficiency in Hindi and Urdu, she provides culturally sensitive, client-centered care tailored to individual needs.
