Occupational Therapist
Maria completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology and her Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
During her clinical placements, Maria gained valuable experience in school-based occupational therapy, working with children with disabilities, including those diagnosed with Autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities. She conducted assessments, developed treatment plans, and implemented therapeutic interventions to support their unique needs.
Maria is passionate about providing culturally sensitive, evidence-based care and is dedicated to helping children and their families achieve meaningful goals. Having recently completed her licensing exam, she is excited to begin her career as a licensed occupational therapist.
