Physiotherapy
Maisie graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne in Australia, and has her Honor’s Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, and Psychology from the University of Toronto. Her interest, passion, and experience in both neurological rehabilitation and paediatric physiotherapy has provided her with pertinent skills and the enthusiasm for advocating and achieving the best outcomes for clients of all ages. Maisie’s clinical interests include treating children with neurological conditions including developmental delay, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injury, down syndrome, gait and functional abnormalities, as well as hydrotherapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and more. Her additional training and education include courses on Introduction to Human Movement (NDT/Bobath), Rehabilitation and Spasticity Management of the Upper Limb, Cerebral Palsy, Introduction to Pilates, and Sports Trainer Level 1. Maisie hopes to continue integrating her evidence-based practice into her treatment in all settings in order to help build healthier and happier children and families.
